Bahamas & Florida

Close to the East Coast of the United States lay the Bahamas—an unforgettable escape from harsh winters in the north. On a Bahamas cruise with Royal Caribbean International®, you'll get to swim with dolphins and tropical fish in turquoise waters, or soar above the sea in a parasail. Then explore the islands’ thrilling history as a pirate haven and one-time “Privateer’s Republic”—with Blackbeard himself as the magistrate. It's a slice of pirate paradise you'll never forget.

Miami USA

One of Oriana’s iconic ports, you’ve two full days ashore to soak up marvellous Miami. First stop South Beach. And what a beach. Arguably one of the best city beaches in the US, even on a sun soaked day you’ll find plenty of room to sprawl. Done with the sun? Take a stroll along Ocean Drive and admire the colourful Art Deco architecture – return after dark to see the street under a neon glow. In The Wolfsonian you’ll find a historical treasure trove of American and European decorative art from 1885 to 1945, while a trip outside the city offers the opportunity to visit the Everglades, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to 14 rare and endangered species, explore the ‘river of grass’ on a traditional airboat.

Nassau Bahamas

Superb beaches, straw markets, rum punch-serving bars and cafés, the Bahamian capital Nassau has all the classic Caribbean attractions plus something extra - its own piece of Paradise. That is Paradise Island - a wonderfully over-the-top resort with flashy casinos and hotels, one even with its own shark pool. It is a boat ride away across Nassau Harbour while other boats will take you to Coral World Marine Park or to Blue Lagoon where you can swim with the dolphins. Nassaus British heritage is all around you in the colonial-style architecture but, for a flavour of its piratical past, try the new Pirates of Nassau museum on a replica pirate ship with interactive tricks to make this bloodthirsty time come thrillingly to life.

New York USA

The ‘Big Apple’ is the USA’s most charismatic city and really does have something for everyone. Love the great outdoors? Stroll through the gorgeous gardens of Central Park, right in the centre of Manhattan. People-watching more your thing? Get a taste of local life in the quaint cafés of bohemian Greenwich Village, or star spot in the boutique and restaurant-lined streets of the sophisticated SoHo and TriBeCa districts. Feast your eyes at the Metropolitan Museum of Art or enjoy the shopping spree of your life at Saks, Macys, Bloomingdales or Century 21 on Cortlandt Street, which is the worlds largest discount warehouse and near that other must-see, Broadway.

Great Stirrup Cay Bahamas

Great Stirrup Cay was the cruise industry’s first private island playground. It is part of Bahama’s Berry Island chain and lies about 50 miles from Nassau. This private retreat is an unspoiled paradise of powdery white sand and crystal clear waters. Lush wooded areas add to the beauty of this setting. As the island is surrounded by a reef, coral and fish are abundant in the waters of the peaceful cove. Hammocks, swaying palm trees, lounge chairs lining the beach and a private mansion complete the landscape. The island even boasts its own lighthouse.

Port Canaveral (Orlando) USA

The gateway to Central Florida, Port Canaveral provides access to the wonderful theme parks and entertainment complexes of Orlando, the spectacular wonders of the Kennedy Space Center and the natural habitats of the alligator and Florida manatee.
